Well, I finally posted it. My incomplete power ranger helmet, well the stages of it.
[MK:I] This was made back in 2006, for halloween for the next year. I never managed to finish it so I gave up on it. It consisted of Cardboard,Duct Tape & Paper Mache
[MK:II] This is pretty much MK:I, just with the paper mache pulled off, revealing the massive amount of white duct tape applied for no reason.
[MK:III] This was nothing more than a posterboard cutout overlay of MK:II. Nothing special about it,it just helped pave way for MK:IV.
[MK:IV] Aside from the wrong roman numerals xP, this was a cast of MK:II,with the MK:III over it. It was a pretty good idea when I thought it but just one layer of the plaster bandages made it heavy and I didnt like that. So MK:IV, was scrapped.
[MK:V] So, this is pretty much where it ends, MK:V is MK:II,split in have so it had the show accurate half-helmet, taken apart resized by cutting parts off and extending it with added cardstock and with some more cuts in the visor for more accurateness. I also added a layer of cut out cardboard and cardstock to add more shape to it with more curves.
The big difference is that,MK:I would expose my chin when i spoke, MK:V has a jaw structure so that doesnt happen.
What I planned to do was find a clear grey/or black folder and use that.
Or DaiRanger in Japan.
